Located on a picturesque setting on Lake Minnetonka, this Cottagewood lakefront home balances a shared team goal -- melding contemporary and traditional, without leaning to either extreme.  Architect Kurt Baum, interior designer Alecia Stevens, and builder and homeowners Steven Streeter and Robin Wettengel collaborated early in the process to combine both form and function with beautiful, unique and comfortable solutions.

The architecture, reminiscent of Europe or Nantucket, is elegant, simple, and timeless.  The layout of the intimate yet open floor plan incorporates sunlit rooms with views of the lake, classic and modern interior selections, and clean symmetry.  Beamed ceilings add charm to the perfectly scaled rooms.

Belgian limestone, Carrara marble, and hand-scraped walnut flooring compliment quiet interior hues of cream, white, brown, tan, olive and black--resisting the urge to dominate the scenic views.  A wrap-around deck and cozy covered patio with an outdoor fireplace was designed for family fun, relaxation, and casual entertaining.
